With 2024 well and truly here, many will turn their thoughts to when the key dates in the Islamic Hijri calendar will fall.

So when will Ramadan, Eid, and Hajj fall in 2024 (Hijri year 1444/1445AH)?

Ramadan will happen between March and April, while Hajj will occur in June. Eid al-Fitr is expected to fall on April 10th and Eid al-Adha is predicted to occur on June 16th.

Of course, the dates are not fixed, as our lunar calendar follows the sighting of the moon to mark the beginning of each new month.

We can indicate when certain holy days are likely to occur, but as you know, it's best to check the exact dates nearer the time.
