Hajj Pilgrimage 2020 with Islam Channel

You may be unable to travel to Mecca for the annual pilgrimage due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Islam Channel will bring Hajj to you, live into your home.
"In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way."

Making the most of the blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah
Here are three things that you can do to make the most of the blessed first 10 Days of Dhul Hijjah, one of the most important months of the Islamic calendar.
- Remember Allah More
Increase your remembrance of Allah in these ten blessed days. Allah reminds us in the Qur’an: “so they may obtain the benefits ˹in store˺ for them, and pronounce the Name of Allah on appointed days [i.e. the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah] over the sacrificial animals He has provided for them. So eat from their meat and feed the desperately poor.” Quran 22:28
The Prophet ﷺ said, “There are no days greater in the sight of Allah and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than the ten days (of Dhul Hijjah), so during this time recite in abundance:
TAHLIL (La-ilaha-ill-Allah - there is no god but Allah),
TAKBIR (Allahu-Akbar - Allah is the Greatest)
TAHMID (Alhamdu-lillah - All praise belongs to Allah)
- Fast As Much As You Can
If you find it difficult to fast then, at the very least, aim to fast on the Day of ‘Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah), as The Prophet ﷺ said that “fasting on the day of 'Arafah may atone for the sins of the preceding and the coming years.” [Muslim]
- Do As Many Good Deeds As Possible
The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah).” [Bukhari] Therefore we should increase the number of good deeds we do in order to take advantage of this blessed time where the reward for doing good is magnified.
- Recite the Quran
- Perform extra Salaah
- Give to charity
- Respect your parents
