Eid al-Adha and Hajj 2025 — dates confirmed

The crescent for the month of Dhul Hijjah 1446 was sighted on Tuesday, confirming the dates of Hajj and Eid al-Adha 2025.

The 1st day of Dhul Hijjah 1446 will be Wednesday 28 May. It means:

  • The day of Arafah is Thursday 5 June.
  • Eid al-Adha is Friday 6 June
  • Three days of Tashreeq are 7 June, 8 June, and 9 June

Dhul Hijjah is the final month in the Islamic calendar and several Hadiths detail the importance of the first ten days of the month. The Prophet (PBUH) said: ” There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days” (Bukhari)
