MuslimKids.TV offers an alternative for summer learning and entertainment

As the summer holidays approach, many parents will struggle to keep their children preoccupied and engaged. Muslim Kids TV, dubbed the “Netflix” of Muslim children, could be the answer.

Summer holidays can lead to boredom, excessive screen time, or exposure to harmful media.

MuslimKids.TV provides an Islamic alternative, keeping children aged 2-12 entertained, enriched, and spiritually grounded throughout the summer.

The digital service offering Islamic and educational content boasts over 15,000 resources, including what it claims is the largest collection of Islamic videos, games and eBooks.

Children can maintain their connection to their Islamic identity through stories of the Prophets, Quranic lessons, and learning about key Muslim figures in history.

At the same time, interactive content like STEM challenges, arts and crafts, and problem-solving games keeps their minds engaged during the school break.

“By spreading the superpowers of kindness, inclusiveness, and hope through quality content, Muslim Kids TV strategically counters the harm caused by the negative messages about certain religions and ethnic groups,” the organisation says on its website.

Creating engaging educational Islamic content

MuslimKids.TV was founded by Michael Milo and Flordeliza Dayrit, parents and media professionals who saw a lack of engaging Islamic content for children.

Motivated by the limited options available to their kids, they set out to create programming that nurtures both faith and cultural identity.

As the name suggests, there are TV shows and films to watch — but the platform offers much more than just videos. Kids can also enjoy eBooks, interactive games, worksheets, and colouring pages.

There is even a Quran recitation buddy to help young learners practice their tajweed and build confidence in reading.

The platform is also preparing to release an animated film in the autumn called Time Hoppers, which explores historical figures from the Islamic Golden Age, such as Ibn al-Haytham and Mansa Musa.

The app is available on all major platforms, including web browsers, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs like Samsung, LG, Roku, and Firestick.

A single account can be used on multiple devices, making it convenient for travel or shared family use. It is also ad-free and kidSAFE certified, offering a safer digital space for children.

Keep your child connected to their faith and future — try MuslimKids.TV this summer!
