Ramadan on the Road
Our new programme follows presenter Tarek Ahmed and cameraman Noor Muhammed as they discover how different communities observe the holy month.
For the first episode of Ramadan on the Road, Tarek and Noor had the chance to meet the winner of the 2015 edition of The Great British Bake Off, Nadiya Hussain, following the release of her new recipe book – Rooza.
In another episode, they head to the West End in London to see the Ramadan Lights switch-on. They spoke to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and actor and presenter Adil Ray.

Stunning Ramadan pictures
Muslims gather for Taraweeh prayers in Istanbul’s historic Hagia Sophia Mosque, while Palestinians come together at Al-Aqsa Mosque for the same prayer, showing unwavering faith despite challenges.
Meanwhile, in Madinah, the Ramadan crescent aligned perfectly with the minaret of the Green Dome at Masjid An-Nabawi.
