Despite the French state’s efforts to stifle the Islamic way of life in the country, one of its celebrities – Marine El Himer – has announced that she has converted to Islam.
The reality TV star and social media influencer, who has 1.4m followers on Instagram, shared a video of her taking the shahada and photos of her in Makkah.
“There are no words strong enough to express the intensity of happiness and emotions experienced at this very moment. A spiritual journey that I hope will continue to uplift and guide me Inshaallah,” she posted on Instagram.
