The third month of the Islamic calendar, Rabi al-Awwal, marks some significant events in Muslim history.
This month is directly connected with the Prophet (SAW) in three ways.
- The Prophet was born in this month
- The Prophet made his Hijrah from Makkah to Madinah — an event so great that the Islamic calendar is based on it
- The Prophet also passed away during this month.
