Hundreds of Muslims gathered at the iconic Times Square in New York to break their first Ramadan fast and perform Taraweeh salah.
Before Taraweeh, around 1,000 meals were distributed for Muslims to break their fast, while organisers recited the Quran and made speeches about the significance of Ramadan.
