A heroic Muslim called Abdullah stopped a brutal stabbing attack on an 11-year-old girl in London’s Leicester Square.
The TWG tea shop security guard explained to the BBC how he courageously intervened when he witnessed the vicious attack: “I saw that he was stabbing a kid. I jumped on him … put him down on the floor and kicked the knife away from him.”
Ioan Pintaru was charged on Tuesday with attempted murder. He attacked the girl, putting her in a headlock and stabbing her eight times, prosecutors said.
The girl sustained severe injuries to her face, shoulder, wrist, and neck area, requiring hospitalisation and plastic surgery.
Social media users have noted the silence from far-right figures on the incident, which is in sharp contrast to the eagerness they show when it comes to falsely attributing blame to refugees and Muslims.
