The new year is in full swing and that means everyone is already thinking about the key dates in the Islamic Hijri calendar.
In Gregorian money, the year is 2022 but the Hijiri year is 1443 / 1444. But when will the marquee events like Ramadan, Eid and Hajj fall in the next 12 months?
Naturally, we can’t be prescriptive about the dates as the Islamic calendar is based on 12 lunar months, which is based on the sighting of the moon.
