Ramadan roundup: Ramadan on the Road, stunning images, and other highlights!

A look at some of the Ramadan-related content we’ve shared on our social networks over the past few weeks

Ramadan on the Road

Our new programme follows presenter Tarek Ahmed and cameraman Noor Muhammed as they discover how different communities observe the holy month.

For the first episode of Ramadan on the Road, Tarek and Noor had the chance to meet the winner of the 2015 edition of The Great British Bake Off, Nadiya Hussain, following the release of her new recipe book – Rooza.

In another episode, they head to the West End in London to see the Ramadan Lights switch-on. They spoke to the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and actor and presenter Adil Ray.

Watch Ramadan on the Road throughout March at 4:30pm GMT.
