The Aziz Foundation: 10 years of helping British Muslims

The Aziz Foundation, established in 2015 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Asif Aziz, empowers British Muslims to overcome societal barriers and achieve leadership positions.

Guided by Islamic values and teachings, the foundation focuses on providing scholarships and strategic grants across community work, arts, culture, and research sectors.

Between 2021-23, 188 scholarships were awarded through the Aziz Foundation and 50 partner universities.

Around 45% of recipients were first-generation university students, and 40% came from households earning less than £20,000 annually.

Islam Channel joined the Aziz Foundation to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with Criterion Connects.

Our journalism has reached over 300M impressions on social media since October 7th. On TV, our rolling news coverage has featured key figures like Husam Zomlot, Avi Shlaim, Gideon Levy and Jeremy Corbyn.

We need your support to reveal the truth and ensure our voices are heard. Donate today.
