The 10th British Muslim Awards recognised the diversity and richness of British Muslims, honouring those who have made a positive impact on society.
The ceremony celebrated individuals and organisations from various sectors, including charity, sport, arts, culture, religious advocacy, and education.
Winners included individuals who have appeared on Islam Channel, including Man of the Year Amir Malik from the Muslim Golf Association; Areeb Siddiqui from Kestrl, who was named Creative Entrepreneur; and The Muslim Sports Foundation, who were awarded the Community Initiative of the Year.
Blackburn Rovers, winners of the Ihsan Award for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion at the Islam Channel Business Awards last year, were awarded the Spirit of Britain award.
Aziz Foundation Scholar Awais Hussain, won ‘Young Achiever of the Year’. Aziz Foundation’s founder Asif Aziz was also winner at last year’s Islam Channel’s Business Awards.

Other winners at the British Muslims Awards included Online Personality of the Year Anisa Karolia, who said she was ‘humbled’ by her award.

Journalist Shamim Choudhury received the Media Achievements of the Year award.

The British Muslim Awards is an annual event that celebrates the achievements and contributions of Muslims in various fields, from business and academia to arts and community service.
