Is it OK to have a favourite surah from the Quran?

In this video from the Yaqeen Institute, Imam Omar Suleiman talks about some of the favourite surahs people have and how it helps them in their Quran journey.

He says The Prophet (PBUH) used to recite verses that would affect him profoundly.  For example, he spent the entire night reciting the following ayah and crying over it:

“If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All-Mighty, The All-Wise.” (Quran, 5:118)
